Covering up all the BLeUGh on my face

Hey! This is a general post about my everyday foundation/skin make up.

Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation & Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer
I don't put loads of foundation or concealer on my face everyday but I get quite bad skin and under-eye circles so if i'm leaving the house to see people i'll usually at least put on some concealer under my eyes and on my blemishes (using fancy make up professional words oooOOo).

For my concealer, I like to use Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer with is GREAT. It has really good coverage and I can't remember exactly how much it cost but it wasn't a lot (under £5 from Boots). The only problem I have with it is that its quite shiny so if I have like a big lumpy spot (eugh i know), i think it's better to use more matte concealer so that light doesn't reflect off it and it shows up less but Collection is great on my under eye circles and on small things.

If I'm going out or I'm having a particularly bad skin day I use Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation over that and it is my very favorite foundation, it makes your skin look much more natural because of its dewiness (I really hate completely matte foundation, it looks so unnatural and just like fake skin) but still covers everything up really well and even though it costs quite a lot (at least for me), it's dEEfinitely worth it.

If I think the Rimmel foundation is a little too dewy I'll sometimes put some powder over it to set it and take away some of the shine and that's it.

I still haven't found any bronzers or blushes that I really like so if anyone has any suggestions pleasee tell me.

CLINIQUE & SIMPLE

Heyheyhey, I recently got bought this Clinique stuff as a present and i know it's quite expensive but if you can afford it's greaat. It's a cleanser, toner and moisturizer set and it works so well honestly. My skin started to clear up after a few days of using it. I didn't need to use any other products, it's everything you need. So yeah it's incrediblee.

Also, if you want a cheaper face care stuff, I am a massive fan of Simple face creams. They're especially good for more sensitive skin but i think they're less helpful if you have very bad skin because they're not really very strong so I prefer to use stronger cleansers if possible but the moisturizers and face masks are really really good.

Hope that was helpful, please tell me if you know any good face creams. Byebyebye.

Lips

Hello hi, this is a sort of review of all my favorite lip balms/scrubs.

Vaseline, Burts Bees, Carmex & Lush Lip scrub

  1. Vaseline- You can basically get Vaseline from anywhere for about £2 and I really like using it as a more short term balm. It helps to moisturize my lips but I find it rubs off quickly and doesn't last very long in my opinion. I also really like the way it looks on your lips and makes them look a lot more hydrated and shinier which is nice. I also enjoy using the pink Vaseline for "rosy lips" it does the same and adds some colour to your lips and as I'm not a big fan of lip gloss it is a good substitute.
  2. Burts Bees lip balm- This one is a little bit more money but I really like it, although it gives my lips less shine, I think it lasts longer and I really LOVE the peppermint taste. It's also really good for you. It's 100% natural and is rich in vitamins.
  3. Carmex-I LOVE CARMEX, it's my number 1 balm. It's less than £3 and it work so well. Anyone who's never used it should really try it out. It gives you a nice shiny layer and giver really long lasting moisture (combo of Vaseline and Burts Bees).
  4. Lush Lip Scrub-I think that Lip Scrub is a really great product to use in the morning and the evening to get rid of any dead skin before putting on any lip balms. I tend not to carry it around with me during the day because it is quite messy (I think) but I do love it, and it tastes incredible.

I love you mum!!11!!

oAHSdiohIHSoihdoihasihDHioH My mum just came home with these new books I'm so excited to read them LOOK.

I have read a few of Sophie McKenzie's books and I am a big fan even though they're not the type of books I usually read (books that make me sob ie. John Green). I've never read anything of Patrick Ness's before but this book looks so interesting and the cover is AWESOME look at it, it's got a little hole where the door opens idk whether you can see from this photo but aiosdjoiash.

Halloween nails TAA DAH

Hey! So Halloween is coming up and it's one of my favoriteeee celebrations, I love dressing up and trick or treating (you're never too old) and so I decided to do some Halloween nails so yeah, here's what they looked like:
Sorry my hand looks weird aha

I don't know whether this is like a well known fact or something, but I only discovered a few weeks ago that you can draw sharpie over your nail varnish and it dries instantly and stays put so I used sharpie a lot with these nails.

So yeah, those are my Halloween nails. TAA DAH, byebyee.

Favorite haircare stuff

Hi this is kind of a review thing of my favorite hair carey sort of products that are things I use basically every time I wash my hair or if I think it needs it.

Basically, I have a tendency to get extreeeemely knotty hair because I have quite thick, curly hair and all the hair brushes I've used in the past have hurt a ton and left my hair insanely fizzy.
I bought a tangle teaser, I can't exactly remember how much it costs I think around £10 from Boots but I love it so much. It barely hurts any more when I brush my hair and only takes me like 5 minutes.

My second favorite is Aussie miracle hair insurance leave-in conditioning spray which only costs about £5 from boots. I usually spray it in after I have a shower to help me brush through my hair but you can put it in any time and it makes your hair so much softer and smells INCREDIBLE OMG seriously this is such a good product, everyone should have it. It's leave in so you can just spray it in whenever if your hair is knotty or you want it to smell good although it isn't like a dry shampoo so you have to sort of comb it through with your fingers or brush it through but it doesn't take long.

So yeah, these are my hair products I couldn't live without, hope you enjoy! Byebyee.

My first ever blog post gahhhoisds

Hi i'm Anna Cullen (not a twilight fan sorry, that's my actual name).
I'm a big fan of photography, beauty stuff (hair, make up, clothes) and I also love to read so I decided to make a blog to post about all the things I love to anyone who'll listen (probably no one ahha) and just to put my thoughts and that. I'm 14, I live in London and I spend a whoooole lot of my time on the internet.
This is my first blogger account and I'm not entirely sure what I'm doing at the moment so yeah sorry if I make any mistakes. God making a first blog post is stressful I don't know what else to write.
